Mars Movie Reviews – Ice Age: Continental Drift

Movie Info:  Scrat’s nutty pursuit of the cursed acorn, which he’s been after since the dawn of time, has world-changing consequences – a continental cataclysm that triggers the greatest adventure of all for Manny, Diego and Sid. In the wake of these upheavals, Sid reunites with his cantankerous Granny, and the herd encounters a ragtag menagerie of seafaring pirates determined to stop them from returning home. — (C) Official Site’

Mars Review:  More solid, at least, than the ice on which its characters float, ‘Ice Age: Continental Drift’ is a fun fourth installment of the popular franchise that has charmed its fans for years.  I really wasn’t expecting much, and let’s be honest, these movies will never be mistaken for a Pixar-type movie, but you know what? I had a surprisingly good time.  Overall there’s enough prehysterical fun to ensure that family audiences won’t be disappointed.
